Learn how to read charts as well as written instructions for knitting cable patterns. You will be knitting a sample pattern that would make a card holder for the class. Using the skills covered for the class, you could then proceed to start your own cable knitting projects following either charts or written instructions.
Knitted cable comes in many different styles and different features. This workshop is meant as an introduction to cable knitting. The stitches used for this workshop are common to all styles of cable knitting. We are able to provide instruction for both right handed and left handed knitters.
For this workshop, you will receive a simple kit consisting of a pair of knitting needles and yarn to knit your cardholder.
